General principles of application of solutions of HELAFIT® group


By their purpose the solutions of HELAFIT® group are biological fertilizers, by their functional characteristics they are immunocorrectors, additionally containing growth stimulators, microelements, amino acids and polysaccharides with fragments of vitamins, adhesives, adjuvants, having a high-tech composition of active substances, which expand the parameters of production processes, especially in unfavorable growing conditions and infection load.

The functions of the solutions are realized with different principles of its application. They include:

  • Individual application - spraying of crops during critical periods of growth. Usually, this method is widely practiced in organic farming
  • complex or mixed application, this method is more common in intensive farming systems.

In case of individual application - spraying of plants is carried out a few days before the beginning of the critical period. Critical period in plant development is the period when the lack or excess of action of one or another factor causes the greatest effect, negatively affecting all subsequent development of plants, which leads to irreversible morphophysiological changes that are accompanied by a sharp decline in yield. At this time, environmental conditions can contribute to both “hardening” of plants, i.e. their greater resistance to stressor action, and “de-hardening”, leading to a decrease in resistance.

Similarly, with regard to diseases, limiting the infectious background or stimulating resistance to them is a decisive factor in preventing possible epiphytosis. Therefore, additional immunization and stimulation of growth and development processes with Helafit products enhances the adaptive function of crops and increases their stress tolerance to the greatest extent, which significantly increases yields.

In the defeat (damage) of crops by pathogenic organisms, there are three critical periods that significantly affect the formation of the main elements of the crop structure.In the first critical period (seed germination - transition to autotrophic nutrition), the critical situation is created mainly by pathogens, in the second - (biomass synthesis) - and in the third - (formation of storage organs).

In the ontogeny of cereal grains, the critical period lasts from the second node phase to the appearance of the flag leaf, and the second critical period is from flowering to grain formation. In sunflower, this is a period of four to ten leaves. Hence, there are two important stages of spraying with HELAFIT®: the period of four to six and eight to ten leaves and the “asterisk” phase.

In corn - at the beginning of growth, when future inflorescences are laid (4-7 leaf stage), and the period from the appearance of 9-10 leaves to the complete ejection of the panicle and 20 days after the panicle is ejected. In legumes - in the period preceding budding and during flowering - grain filling, in rape - stem formation, budding and bud development, as well as the end of flowering.The critical period for buckwheat yield formation is during flowering, fruit formation and filling.

This method of spraying is most popular in organic, ecological and other non-intensive farming systems, where the technological load on crops is relatively low. In modern intensive farming systems, the product is used in combination with pesticides. This method of application does not always allow for a more precise coincidence with the critical phase, but it is economically and economically feasible. With this method of application:

  • no additional spraying costs, reduced plant injury and soil compaction due to additional tractor passes;
  • the pesticide syndrome is significantly limited, which is especially evident in the limitation of growth from the use of herbicides and fungicides;
  • accelerates the decomposition of pesticides in the plant.

The immunocorrectors and adjuvant included in the products make it possible to reduce the dose of herbicides by 10-15% and the rate of fungicides by 50% (provided that the original products are used). These properties make the products economically attractive.

Individual spraying with Helafit kombi in traditional technologies is practiced in those cases when there are no justified reasons for crop treatment with pesticides, but there is a biological need to strengthen production processes in critical phases of development and during stress situations.

When plants are sprayed with Helafit kombi, growth and production processes are significantly activated. Their full realization is often limited by the deficit of nitrogen available for plants. For this reason, it is necessary to add 8-10 kg of urea to the tank mixture.

The solution is compatible with most fungicides, herbicides, insecticides and fertilizers, except for strongly alkaline and highly acidic substances. It is recommended to check for compatibility before use. The solution is not compatible with alkaline substances (e.g. Bordeaux liquid) and mineral oils.
